The mission of Cush Community Relief International is to pursue the emotional and physical well-being of Sudanese
in Omaha, Nebraska, USA and Sudanese living in central, western and eastern Upper Nile areas of southern Sudan,
the Blue Nile in Eastern Sudan and the Nuba Mountains in Western Sudan. While CCRI assists all Sudanese regardless
of race, gender, religious beliefs or ethnicity, special attention is given to promote and protect the rights and
welfare of women and children.
The organization strives to provide a nurturing environment whereby Sudanese are provided opportunities to achieve
their full potential. In the U.S. and Sudan, the organization attempts to:
- Develop, promote and sustain programs that meet basic human needs;
- Establish partnerships that advance self-sufficiency; and
- Advocate for peace and human rights in Sudan.
